Carl Zeiss Jena Flektogon 35mm f/2.8-16.0

Along with the famed French Type R1 35/2.5 from ANG??NIEUX (launched and introduced late 1949, and available to market on 1950), the Carl Zeiss Jena Flektogon is the 2nd wide angle lens ever made for SLR photography. Optics based purely on retrofocal design. The lens was made in several variations, from preset to auto mount. The original preset mount had a minimum focus distance of 0.36m, while the late auto version, which shares the focusing mount with the 50/1.8 Pancolar, focuses to 0.18m.
